กระทรวงการต่างประเทศร่วมกับสำนักงานหลักประกันสุขภาพแห่งชาติ จัดงานเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวันหลักประกันสุขภาพถ้วนหน้าสากล ประจำปี 2567
เมื่อวันที่ 12 ธันวาคม 2567 กระทรวงการต่างประเทศและสำนักงานหลักประกันสุขภาพแห่งชาติ (สปสช.) ได้จัดงานเฉลิมฉลองวันหลักประกันสุขภาพถ้วนหน้าสากล (International UHC Day) ประจำปี 2567 โดยมีนายรัศม์ ชาลีจันทร์ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ, นายแพทย์มณเฑียร คณาสวัสดิ์ รองปลัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุข และนางสาว Saima Wazed ผู้อำนวยการองค์การอนามัยโลกประจำภูมิภาคเอเชียใต้และตะวันออก ร่วมกล่าวเปิดงานและต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วม
งานในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นภายใต้หัวข้อ “Health Promotion: A Path Towards Sustainable UHC” ซึ่งมีผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากหลายภาคส่วนร่วมบรรยายและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพและระบบหลักประกันสุขภาพถ้วนหน้า โดยเฉพาะการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างทั้งสองนโยบาย มีการอภิปรายในหลากหลายประเด็น เช่น การส่งเสริมสุขภาพในระดับนานาชาติผ่านการเป็นประธานกรอบ Foreign Policy and Global Health Initiative (FPGH) ของไทยในปี 2567, การส่งเสริมสุขภาพและการดำเนินการตามหลักประกันสุขภาพถ้วนหน้าในระดับท้องถิ่น, การนำแนวคิดเวชศาสตร์วิถีชีวิต (lifestyle medicine) มาประยุกต์ใช้ รวมถึงการนำเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) มาใช้ในการส่งเสริมสุขภาพและการพัฒนาระบบสาธารณสุข
นอกจากนี้ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศและสำนักงานหลักประกันสุขภาพแห่งชาติยังได้ร่วมแสดงความยินดีแก่ขบวนการแพทย์ชนบทที่ได้รับรางวัลแมกไซไซประจำปี 2024 ในฐานะกลุ่มที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนการเข้าถึงบริการสุขภาพอย่างเท่าเทียมสำหรับประชาชนในพื้นที่ห่างไกลและชนบทของประเทศไทย
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the National Health Security Office (NHSO), organized an event to celebrate International Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day 2024.
On December 12, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Health Security Office (NHSO) hosted the celebration of International UHC Day 2024, with remarks from Mr. Rasmey Chaleejan, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Montian Kanasawat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, and Ms. Saima Wazed, Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) South-East Asia Regional Office, who welcomed attendees and opened the event.
The event was held under the theme “Health Promotion: A Path Towards Sustainable UHC,” with experts from various sectors presenting and exchanging views on the implementation of health promotion and universal health coverage policies, particularly the integration of the two policies. The discussions covered several key topics, including the promotion of health at the international level through Thailand’s chairmanship of the Foreign Policy and Global Health Initiative (FPGH) in 2024, the promotion of health and the implementation of UHC at the local level, the application of lifestyle medicine, and the use of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to support health promotion and public health development.
Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Health Security Office extended congratulations to the Rural Doctors Movement, which was awarded the 2024 Ramon Magsaysay Award for its significant role in advancing equitable access to health services for people in remote and rural areas of Thailand.
